We looked forward to our return visit to Paddy Coynes as the food was so delicious last time. You can't book here but the 45 minute wait was fine-well worth it. We had two starters, crab with coriander and lime, and then a goat's cheese tart. Both were wonderful. I had fish burger for my main off the daily specials,... More

I've never seen such a cosy and welcoming place such as Paddy Coyne's. People are very friendly. The Guinness seems to taste yummier than anywhere around. Time has stopped sometime... it's just an amazing place!

Very nice menu, excellent service and wonderful food! When we travel back to Tullycross Paddy Coyne's will be on our list to enjoy again. One of the coziest restaurants I have ever enjoyed.

We went for a meal last Wednesday and they were showing the award for Pub of the year for the Connaught area. This was well deserved as we had been in for a meal last year whilst holidaying, it was excellent and enjoyable. This year the visit was just as enjoyable.

I have eaten here four/five times and each. Times is as good as the last if not better. It gets busy so you may have to wait in the bar until a table becomes available but this only happened once to me and it was no hardship as everyone is so friendly. The menu is varied with something for everyone.... More

We ate dinner here and then had a few pints of Guinness (possibly too many) and watched the Ireland/Wales rugby game. The result was the only disappointing part of the evening. I had scallops and my husband has the monkfish. We had planned to swap half way but neither of us wanted to-they were both lovely! I think the prices... More

A lovely pub with great atmosphere and delicious food. We had dinner including fresh smoked connemara salmon salad, burgers and chips, combined with friendly service made this a perfect Irish pub experience.

Have been going here for years and am never disappointed. The fish is so fresh it could hop off the plate, because of this I always go for the specials. Most recently I had the oysters (delicious and amazing value 3 for €5) and salmon which was a huge portion and cooked to perfection. If you're within driving distance I... More
