We stopped here for a quick bite on a Sunday, as we had to feed our 18 month old son and were passing through. Unfortunately this was one occasion where TripAdvisor failed me miserably. The dining area itself was like stepping back into 1979. We sat ourselves at a table as a few staff had passed and not acknowledged our... More

Brilliant quality food. I'm not crazy about lunch menu but breakfast and desserts are so good. I try different desserts each time. The French toast and bacon for breakfast is 👌🏼

The Bay Tree is simply great place to have a breakfast or lunch. Food is always high quality with a plenty of selection. Tuna Steak with Pesto Pasta on the special was just amazing as well as Lamb Liver in onion gravy. Two days later we had our usual fillet steak which was tender and fantastic and cooked to order... We visited this restaurant recently with 3 grand children. We all had a beautiful meal. Food was excellent. Kids enjoyed food and drinks. Found restaurant a bit small.

This is top notch food in the heart of Athy. We go here regularly for the great selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads. A personal favourite is the Mediterranean wrap with chicken or ham added. I would also recommend the selection of cakes - Pecan slice being my highlight here. The staff are always friendly and in great form.
