Was staying in Portlaois on business and stumbled on this little jewel. Excellent food with a very quiet and comfortable atmosphere Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Make a point of visiting if you in this area.

Had lunch here with the extended family. Wonderfully attentive service even dropping an amuse-bouche so I could sample the (very tasty!) parsnip soup when torn between starters. I had the caramel pot for dessert which I can't describe adequately without spoiling how truly delicious an experience it is. Worth every penny! Will definitely be back!

Was in the town and went to Season due to the reviews here and it did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in. The service was excellent. We had Sunday lunch. The presentation of the food was amazing. And the quality and taste was great. Finished it off with a lovely desert. The owner/manager was very friendly and attended... More

This is my second visit to Seasons. The last time i visited with my family and this time was our work Christmas party. The food was delicious on both occasions. The owner went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy. If you are visiting the area, drop into Seasons. You will not be disappointed

I dined in Season's Bistro for lunch on Thursday 15 December. I chose from the set Christmas menu for €29.95 My starter was home made vegetable soup, which I thought was nothing special. I then moved onto the Turkey Roulade which was wrapped in Parma ham, apple and sage stuffing, cranberry relish, bacon creamed sprouts, mashed potato and pan gravy.... More

Dinner in This upstairs restaurant outshines everything else you'll find in town. Excquisitely prepared food in an unpretentious surrounding. The host is a friendly guy with a generous sense of humour.

Popped in on a Sunday night as were looking for a meal. Place was quiet but the owner made us very welcome . The food was a revelation . Had a smoked haddock starter with beautiful sauce and many distinct complimentary flavours. The main was turkey roulade which was beautifully presented with kale crisps and lovely mash. Gorgeous. Desert was... More

We ate here in January as we hadn't tried it before my other half ordered the burger with NO sauce as it makes him I'll. Burger came down smothered in sauce. Returned it and the next burger that came down was cold. The chips were far too hard and food very overpriced. Not my kind of menu either very restricted!
