Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

New management has certainly made this a recommended place to eat. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the portions generous. We were up for the Sunday roast beef and under normal circumstances, this would have been a 5 star review. However and rather bizarrely, the...chef seems to fill the centre of the ‘yorkie’ with what can only be described as a poor quality sausage meat crossed with Paxo. I have never had this combination before and it didn’t work as it undermined what would have been a very decent plate of food. I know there is a tendency for the kitchen to ‘Masterchef’ everything but quite frankly, less would have more. We will definitely be back but I would recommend that if the restaurant continues with the sausage meat Yorkshire pudding that the customer is aware of that fact (which I wasn’t) and can choose.More
