The Old Smugglers Inn lies at the south east end of St Brelades Bay and makes for a very welcome stop when one has walked the length of the bay. It's a typically old worldly pub come restaurant and offers a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming and the bar is well stocked with a... More

Our first visit, Dogs welcome inside, great food, traditional style English pub, very good selection of food and drinks, Ales, wine, cider. Superb service, friendly helpful staff. Wonderful Mussels, Portuguese Espetadas, which we had and they were wonderful. Highly recommend a visit!

Great position by the sea, but historically nothing to do with smugglers, and basically just a standard pub.

Character pub with beams, huge granite fireplaces, popular with locals and tourists. Very busy even in late September and you may have to wait some time before your meals arrive. Large free car park opposite the pub.

Some may say quaint, I would say in need of updating! However food was good and that was the main thing. Way off the beaten track, we stumbled across the Inn by accident, but staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was very reasonably priced.

We visited for an evening meal, having walked across the bay from St Brelades. The pub is much bigger on the inside than it looks from outside, with different levels and areas. We found the service a bit chaotic, with several tables having to ask for a complete set of cutlery, and having to ask for drinks rather than being... More

We ate here several evenings. very busy but we managed to get a table without booking. The choice on the menu was both traditional and more "exotic" over several evenings tried a selection from the menu, the food was very good (with the exception of the Sunday Lunch) although portion size seem to vary from customer to customer. I ordered... More
