Excellent value for money (I am reviewing "Roast" as of Feb 2017, not "Brunch"). Half a roast chicken, 2 sides and 2 dips all for £11.25. Excellent tasty dishes and sides with quick service. Only let downs are - no desserts available and service only average as tables not cleared after meal and staff eating in the restaurant whilst serving.... More

This used to be Brunch but was modernised and changed a couple of years ago to become the Roast. It specialises in English breakfasts and chicken. We used to go a lot when it was the Brunch but were disappointed when it changed. However the owners must have listened to those of us who had ceased going as it again... More

it may be obvious in bigger cities but in Jersey this type of food shop is rather unique. They offer great selection of freshly prepared salads, where you can choose your own ingredients or let the choose them for you, based on recipe. They also offer fresh soups and hot food such as burritos and paninis. Price is around typical... More

We did not know of this place before coming to Jersey. Stumbled upon it really. But so glad we did. Ate lunch here on two different days. The chilli tastes home-made and my companion had the cheese and pasta which he said was slightly overcooked - he prefers the pasta to be al dente. The second lunch we had the... More

Since being 'done up' brunch has seriously went down hill. I dont know whom they are seeking to attract by their new high brow breakfasts but the quality is sub standard for the now very over inflated prices. 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 piece of bacon 1 piece of toast and a smattering of beans for nearly £7, now thats... We found this place on the recommendation of a local, when we were struggling to find somewhere for breakfast on Good Friday morning, when most other cares seemed to be closed. The breakfast is excellent value, although the service is rather uninspiring, with little in the way of bonhomie from the staff, which is why it gets a 4 rating... More

Had a really great late English breakfast, in a cosy little cafe in Jersey. Just what the doctor ordered. Good fast service, great food, good company and chatter. Definitely coming back tomorrow. Plus it's cheap!
