Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are looking for relaxed yet elegant restaurants in Jersey with a fabulous view as well as great food, Mark Jordan at The Beach is the place to go. I loved the Scallops with Pulled Pork, Celeriac and a Truffle and Apple Salad and...my husband thoroughly enjoyed the Pressing of Duck and Foie Gras as well. We both had meat for our main course, the lamb for my husband and I had a delicious braised short rib. We really liked the convivial atmosphere here; it was a great evening.More

Back after several years’ COVID-enforced absence, this was our first time for Sunday lunch. The celeriac veloute was rich and packed with flavour, whilst the smoked haddock risotto was sublime. Main courses of roast beef and sea bass were delicious, cooked to perfection and beautifully...presented. We were asked how the roast beef was to be cooked and this was then delivered upon - impressive. All of this was complemented by delicious wine at a reasonable price and impeccable service.More

We decided on trying this restaurant as a special treat. The welcome was amazing, great staff. The food was out of this world, and worth every penny. We were expecting it to be more expensive that it was to be honest but had a fabulous...night and would definitely recommend, I bet it is an amazing place to visit during the nicer weather.More

I wasnt going to write a review here as I have done some for the same restaurant in the past but the food and visit was so good I felt I must. We visited here with family and were greeted by the staff who took...coats and chatted to us. The staff here are lovely and friendly and incredibly efficient and they really do look after customers brilliantly. Two of our party had the spring menu and I opted for smaller starter portion and a dessert, I mean who can resist the wonderful souffle they do here? Not me! Food was outstanding as it always is. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants and it never disappoints. A wonderful treat for our guest as it always is. Will return and soon.More

Went for Sunday lunch while visiting Jersey with our toddler, the restaurant catered for us as a family. We ended up ordering from the main menu, great views, lovely food and good service.

Ate the scallops to start and they were outstanding! Would highly recommend. The local bream (main) was very good too. The staff were attentive and helpful (and were able to accommodate my request for a table with a beach view - which I was very...grateful for). The perfect dining experience for my first night in Jersey - thanks to all involved!More

Booked a table for dinner for our wedding anniversary, and we had a memorable three course meal. Good choice of options on the menu and helpful wine suggestions to accompany our lovely food. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. We sat inside beside the...amazing 'Fish at the Beach' decorated wall with a view out to the promenade and the sea. At the end of the meal, the staff presented us with a plate beautifully decorated with a happy anniversary message piped in chocolate along with some chocolates. A lovely thoughtful gesture. Will definitely return on our next visit to Jersey.More

We were lucky enough to visit Mark Jordan at the Beach during the first week in September and were able to sit outside. The whole experience was excellent with just the right level of service. Whilst all the food we had was superb a special...mention must go the gilled plaice main dish and a wonderful raspberry soufflé dessert. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of white wine. We were pleasantly surprised at the end of the meal when we received a very reasonable bill. It is certainly worth a visit.More

Delicious! Food was fabulous; scallops to start and them sea bream. Staff very warm and attentive. We sat outside, great view but the dining area totally soulless, needs shrubs and lighting to soften it and when you repaint the outside, anything but that ghastly red!...Definitely recommend for food, ambience outside not so much!More

Sorry, I cannot answer that. There are two restaurants, one at the hotel and another about 2 miles away. They are both run by Mark. I went to the one away from the hotel.
