Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely early evening dinner here on the terrace with views across the bay to add to the enjoyment. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the food generously served and very tasty. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back.

Amazing food you must try the trio of fish and shellfish with chips. Excellent service waiters friendly and nothing to much trouble Only downfall we were charged a service charge we didn’t know about it but we’d left a tip already- after we queried it...they altered our bill straight away. One waiter even gave us detailed bus times and locations This restaurant should open a branch in Poole Dorset they’d make a killingMore

Lunch here was lovely, stunning views and good food, but a little on the expensive side. A good spot on a sunny day

Great location - make sure you make a booking in advance! We really enjoyed our dinner here while we were staying at the hotel and would have eaten here again if we had stayed for longer.

Booked outside table 8 weeks in advance for 7pm, and pre-ordered 1 week in advance. This was the first meal on our holiday, and was supposed to be an enjoyable start to the week. Arrived and we were asked if we wanted inside or out....We said out. Another staff member then asked us, and we again said outside. He told us they had a table inside if we wanted. No, we want to sit outside. So he told us we could perhaps sit outside for a drink first, then move inside. After several back & forths like this, we gave in and went inside...where the table wasn't ready. Even before drinks orders were taken we were asked if they could tell the kitchen to start preparing the food, to which we said yes. Drinks orders taken and delivered. After 1 hour, when the neighbouring table (who arrived at least 15 minutes after us) were served their second course, we asked how much longer our food would be. The manager and waitress then reappear with bread "while we wait". I asked the waitress how long it would be, and we were told "they're just preparing your food now" At 8:15, our meals started to arrive. All except 1, a salad. This arrived about 5 minutes later. In the meantime, the Sinangag with tofu, marked as vegan on the menu, had been cooked with egg. When we asked about this we were told it was because we hadn't specifed vegan on the pre-order. Who has to state vegan for a vegan option? The manager tried telling us the menu stated egg, until we produced the menu and showed her it didn't. They did re-cook the meal, but the person ended up eating on their own. We were compensated for the delay and mistakes, although it did take a lot of discussion to get anything more than an apology and an offer of free dessert - we'd already said we weren't staying. Overall, an extremely disappointing visit as the food when it arrived was very good, but the experience was marred by too many mistakes and management trying to blame us for a non-vegan vegan mealMore

Had a lovely lunch here on a stunning sunny but slightly breezy day but the glass screens surrounding the outside eating area kept the drafts at bay. Staff were very friendly and gave unhurried service. Food was great with lots of choice, nice portion sizes...and tasty well cooked food. Not sure you could want for much more with such lovely views to accompany your meal. Highly recommended.More

Parking seemed limited, service was slow but they are the only negatives. Sested on the front terrace, fantastic view of the bay with the sun setting. Food was fantastic.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a short break. Could not fault the food, service or cleanliness. The lamb shank with roasted vegetables was so good I had it twice. Great selection of hot and cold options at breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.

We nearly stayed at this hotel for the week but in the end stayed elsewhere! However, we did book in for dinner one sunny evening - planned for to get the sunset from the terrace. Wow - we were not disappointed. Oh - and the...food was good too. In fact the food was very very good. Lemon sole was excellent as was the seafood linguine. Likewise the duck spring rolls to start. Service was slightly slow but they were pretty busy and also had to contend with inside as well as outside. Heaters available outside and glass/Perspex shields from the road (wind/sand?) too. All in all a great experience.More

Had a lovely Sunday lunch on the terrace overlooking the beautiful bay on a warm September day and the overall visit was delightful. The place was packed but none the less service was friendly and attentive throughout. The beef was tender and pink and the...vegetables nicely cooked with overall portions generous. Will be back and can recommend. There is limited parking at the venue plus plenty of free parking within a hundred yards or so in either direction.More

Enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch with family out on the terrace. The food was excellent. I started with the mussels which were superb then had the penne pasta with veg and sauce. It was very good. I did want it with chicken which was...£3 extra but they didn’t provide it. I sent it back as there was still no chicken . When it came back again there was still no chicken. It was such a shame. It was the only thing that let it down. I did pay the full amount to not cause a scene. But just not happy with being conned like that. However, i will at some stage go again.More
