Sat in a window seat overlooking the beach. Wonderful view. Lovely staff. Had the two courses for £20.00 offer. Main course portions were nice but a bit on the small side. Pint of Neck Oil beer £6.25.

With a stunning view over the bay the extensive menu offers some excellent fish (as it should on an island!) and a good wine selection. Not too formal like its sister restaurant Reunion upstairs the cooking is as good and the ambiance quite casual. A...cheese soufflé starter followed by my scallops and guests tempura prawns were perfect.More
Fun, friendly, fab location, great staff and most importantly excellent food. We tried 12 of the dishes during our stay and gave them all 10/10. A rare find on this gorgeous island.
Never had a bad meal visited loads of times once again food lovely new staff turn over but all very pleasant and helpful food arrived lovely and hot and looking very appealing Good choice of drinks good price What not to like see you soon
Delicious food and amazing service Family evening meal after surfing and the children’s menu was great but what a selection on the usual menu We had halloumi fries to share to start Then steak pie with chips and also the hot shot chicken Parmesan -...wow !!! We were too full for dessert but would recommend others to go here Staff could not have been any more helpful and polite - wonderfulMore
The Rockmount never fails to deliver. The food is great and menu varied but the staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble their aim is to pkease.
The service was quick and friendly; everywhere was clean and the ambience was perfect. The pricing is incredibly reasonable, especially compared to some other eateries close by and given its proximity to the beautiful Cobo Bay. I would recommend the beer-battered fish and chips to...anyone and why not wash it down with some of that famous, Guernsey cider? 10/10!More
This is a lovely restaurant with stunning sea views. We were staying at the hotel next door but chose to eat here as the choice of food was excellent service very high quality and very reasonably priced food. The staff are really lovely......attentive but not...overbearing. We ate here for the three nights of our stay as it was so nice. Highly recommended.More
We popped in just fancying fish and chips and a drink. It was busy but they found us a table in 5 minutes. We had 3 large fish and chips, 1 regular fish and chips and 1 half chicken and chips. All very well cooked...with good service.More
Went for a birthday meal . Serving staff look scruffy , may look better if all wore same colour jeans and didn’t chew gum. Some were friendly . Food was distinctly average . Chicken was tasteless , just a load of garlic butter on the...skin. Coleslaw wasn’t very pleasant . Banoffee sundae looked like it was for a child in a small glass with cheap ice cream . Wouldn’t be my first choiceMore
Called in here on a hot day for a refreshing pint. Good choice of beers with friendly service and helpful locals who can offer advice on the best bus to catch back to St Peter Port.
This is a fantastic seaside pub. Great views from the outside (street aside) and a lot to offer inside. They have different sections if you just want to have a drink, proper lunch or dinner or even watch the footy on TV. Great concept. Something...for everyone. The food is sensational. We had a seafood plate to start followed by classic fish n’ chips and mussels with pasta. Delicious. Great selection of drinks as well. Last but not least, the staff is amazing. They seem to enjoy what they are doing. Well done and keep this up.More
Been in Guernsey for a week. Eaten at Grande Lodge twice, Cobo Bay Hotel twice and Thomas de La Rue twice. All very good. Had a pre-dinner pint at Rockmount which was like vinegar. Ordered steak and mushroom pie which was actually a meat pudding...so salty I couldn’t eat it. A bad experience on the last night of our holiday. Uncontrolled children running about.More
We got a strange reception as soon as we said we were vegetarian. As the main menu had a very limited vegetarian selection, we asked if there was a separate veggie menu. The waitress then walked away and apparently refused to serve us. After a...lengthy period the manager came over to take our order when we were on the brink of leaving. In summary, if you’re veggie don’t bother coming here.More
Great place! I would recommend to book a table. We were very lucky we arrived just before the dinner menu started at 5:30pm. Most of the tables were already reserved. Quite a few people were disappointed. The view of the beach is spectacular as it...is right across the road. The food was very tasty. I had a beef burger and the meat was excellent. It had lots of flavour. My husband had the steak and oyster mushroom pie and said how good it was. The staff were friendly and attentive. Should we return to Guernsey it would definitely be on our return list.More
