Warm italian welcome, nice ambience and quality freshly cooked food cooked by the italian owner and quality wine by the glass menu too which is rare. The food was well presented and cooked to perfection, a smaller establishment with empahsis on customer service, good food and wine. Incidentally if you want a cocktail there is a great menu to. Been in Guernsey all week and this was the best meal we have had compared to others in st peter port.

We booked a table for 8. Our welcome was warm polite and enthusiastic. Everything had been prepared in advance. The restaurant is small but well laid out, with good decor and in true Italian fashion, spotlessly clean. The menu was authentic Italian with lots of the classic dishes and some of the less known regional ones. Everyone had a 5 star meal and the gnocchi which I had I can highly reccomend. Pricing was in the range expected for the quality of the dishes on offer. This is a real Italian experience with no compromise for being outside Italy. Entering Gusto, you could be going into any trattoria in Italy. What a place to find in Peter Port.

Visited again on our latest visit to St Peter Port and received a very warm welcome from the waiter and chef. It was remembered where we sat on our last visit and had the same table.
It was a busy evening but the service was very prompt and we were asked after my starter when we would like our main course to arrive. As we liked a gap it came after we requested it.
I had a different starter of some cheese, ham and Walnuts. There was plenty of everything. My wife had just a selection of bread with Olive oil and 2 other dips.
For our main course we both had steaks with mine being rare while my wife liked hers medium to well done. Both were a nice size and cooked as requested.
A very pleasant and enjoyable evening.

Called in again to see the chef who once worked at the hotel we stayed.
We were recognised by the main waiter and had the same seats as our last visit back in March.
I had a smoked Salmon starter while my wife had Kalamari. Both were very good.
For main course I had a Swordfish dish which came with a pasta and the fish in small chunks. My wife had a steak which came cooked as requested.
I had a Rose' while my wife had sparkling water.
I do not have desert but my wife had one made up with ice cream, cream and fruit which was large and very good.
Very good food and service that was just right. We ended the evening talking to the chef and waiter and not leaving until nearly 12.30am.

We are not really into Italian food/drink but we knew the chef from previously being at a hotel we stayed in over Christmas and said we would pay him a visit.
A very busy small restaurant which was slightly cramped but did not affect our evening.
I had a Mussels dish while my wife had a selection of bread with garlic/vinegar.
For main course I had a trio which consisted of Prawns, Scollops and Brill which was excellent while my wife had whitebait and Kalamari which she enjoyed.
No desert for me but wife had a coconut ice cream with cream which she enjoyed.
The one downside was the lack of a sweet wine so I shared wife's Pellagrino water which
makes a very unusual change.

We travel to Italy regularly because we love the food and the people. Gusto is a piece of Italy in Guernsey. Food is outstanding- their PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE I dream about. A carefully well curated wine collection representing great wines from all regions. A must meal if visiting Guernsey. The Team is really special Rosario is the most welcoming front of house and Pepe the chef is really committed to great food a genius in the kitchen

The service is great and most of the food was wonderful. Dessert really poor. Cheese board is boring and simply not worth the money. If they added some additional chutney and cheese this would have made a big difference at a relatively small cost. So, for us, it was simply not good value for money compared to some of the other restaurants in guernsey.

We got very lucky as a "walk in" to this restaurant as we understand it's always fully booked.
The team made us feel welcome and we didn't feel rushed. The pasta we ordered was freshly cooked and was excellent. Overall a very nice experience.

Outstanding. Best Italian - easily as good as any Italian meal we’ve enjoyed in Italy. Guernsey is very lucky to have Peppe and his team. Deserving of enthusiastic support. Every dish cooked to perfection with generous use of the best ingredients- cannot wait to return!

Our party of 4 all had different mains and they were all very enjoyable. Reasonably priced and a good choice of menu. Quite a small restaurant so was not noisy and boisterous. Pleasant attentive staff and didn’t have to wait long for our food. Would go there again if I was here for longer.

Just in from Saturday night dinner here, and I had to write a review immediately. This is a fabulous restaurant!
I've holidayed across Italy many times, and Gusto provides a taste of authenticity, especially with Giuseppe serving!
The entire meal was perfect, so much food - the antipasti was amazing!
If you're in St Peter Port, this is definitely a place to visit!

We visit Guernsey on a regular basis, we have often walked passed the restaurant but always full. Today we called in for lunch, I have to say the welcome, service and food were all first class. Everything is freshly cooked and very tasty, the wine selection is also good. Thank you

Delicious Italian food with fresh produce and a ligh touch. A small, airy and comfortable restaurant. Menu of Italian classics with a modern sensibility and a small choice of daily specials. Scallop starter was generous and special of burrata refreshing and delicious. Main course pasta dishes were tasty. A good choice of wine by the bottle or glass. Charming and efficient service. A lovely evening.

First time and very pleasantly surprised. Was not noisy as I had expected and ambience was very friendly. Food and service was excellent. Crab linguine with fresh pasta was lovely. We had an early table which suited the kids, thanks for the nice touch re my youngest’s birthday.

Great find towards the top of the hill in St Peter's Port. Genuine Italian food - the pasta was excellent and the grilled scallops perfect! The Montepulciano was a great wine choice.
