Popped here at 10.30 am Saturday morning for brunch & it was rammed. Always a great sign. Asked Mantis for my usual 'wild mushroom side' (sheer heaven!), slow cooked soft boiled eggs & Le broillade for Mr FM. Can't fault it unbelievable would recommend for all & simply didn't want the mushrooms to end. Nicely seasoned, light, parsley just nommable... More

The night before we had a awful meal at another local restaurant and needed a pick-me-up and 'Le petit cafe' delivered. Thank Goodness. We entered the main restaurant and were told by the hostess that the restaurant was full (not a good start), but were taken through to the cafe area (what looked like a separate building) and seated in... Tried lots of new places over last 12 months & Le petit cafe still ticks lots of great boxes. Top staff / owners : Delphine, Mantis, Romain etc. You can't beat the wild mushrooms brekkie & egg for Mr FM. Equally, awesome steak tartare & huitres, composse salad are spot on. Light dishes. Wine choice good for its audience. We'd... More

Lovely meal, but service depends on whether you get a smiley waiter or a somewhat bored one; bill payment took a long time. Recommend the moules marinieres with extra cream. Coq au vin was tasty if quite heavy/gamey. Cheese souffle was fluffy but a little dry and dessert (combination of three) was a sweet indulgence. House wine by the glass... More

On a hot August day and strolling around the town, we hit upon this cafe just as we were feeling the need for coffee. It fitted the bill superbly. Very nice coffee and a light snack was just perfect. Service maybe a little slow but they were very busy and it was a hot day. But such a nice place... More

On a recent visit to Guernsey we had a very enjoyable late lunch at Le Petit Cafe. It was close to 5pm and the cafe was quiet at the time which suited us perfectly as we had a small baby with us. I was the only one to have a starter - I had the fish soup which was quite... More
