My 78th birthday and I decided to take the family out for dinner. There were 14 of us in all and we were seated together on one long table. (Always the same problem with restaurants in so far as one end of the table cannot talk to people on the other end) however the atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed... More

The Old Quarter never fails to impress on so many levels. Value for money, hell year, Quality, Hell yeah, Great service, most definitely, atmosphere, as always. Arriving at 8pm on a Wednesday evening presently surprised to see the place was nearly full, and once we and one other table sat down it was full. Always the sign of a good... More

Had a 4 Course Quids In meal for £12.50 each last night. Really yummy and amazing service. Had to take desert home in a doggy bag as we ate too much while there. Unbelievable value, definitely going back.

I attended an early bird meal recently at this restaurant, to be honest there was a party of nearly 20, so quite a few people to deal with for this place. Its food is good but the portions were very small to say the least. It appeared that portion sizes had been portioned between 2-3 people. The staff were very... More

On a quiet midweek Spring day we ventured down into The Old Quarter for a lazy four course lunch. The staff were attentive and polite and the restaurant clean and with a certain old world charm. It was relatively quiet with a constant flow of office workers heading into and out of Town. The menu was expansive with plenty of... More

Lovely friendly restaurant. I ordered the tempura prawns with chilli jam, delicious. Followed by the complimentary pate (this pate is to die for, I always eat too much of this and then cannot finish my main - be warned!), I then had chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese, and a lovely white wine sauce, served on a bed of champ... We recently returned to The Old Quarter for an evening meal with friends. As usual, the restaurant was full and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming - really buzzing. The menu is varied...there was something for everyone, in fact there were so many tempting dishes to choose from it took serious consideration, so I guess we'll be returning soon to... More

The hospitality and food is always great here - I have never had such good value for money on a Christmas party menu before and it's always top of my list if I want to go out. Go and enjoy.

A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy's home roots. The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this. Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible. You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery's, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.
