I recently attended this restaurant with a large group (16). Our table was pre-booked for 19:30hrs. A few side dishes were presented at 20:00hrs, then the main was presented at 21:30hrs. The presentation of the food and quality was't good, just standard to basic. It was a Tuesday evening, so not a busy night for the restaurant, Just 4 other... More

Coming from Guernsey I have made a point of never reviewing local restaurants or hotels. My son and I have both had sit down meals at the King Balti on 3-4 separate occassions in the last few months (booked by friends who insisted on going, against our advice). At best the service can be described as woeful. Be prepared to... More

The first (and most certainly the last) visit here. Terrible food and the service was just as bad. An hour and twenty minutes waiting for an unappetising and cold starter to arrive was enough to leave without enduring any more. There are much better options on the island!

King Balti... King Baltic more like. Don't think they've heard of heating in this place. Plus, if you're going to make your dining guests suffer in the cold then perhaps attempt to take their order within the first 50 minutes of them sitting down so they feel appreciated... rather than give all your attention towards those picking up takeaways. Oh,... More

Saturday night was ok not much to shout about, food and service average but nothing wrong with it. Don't think I'll be back in a hurry. Cobra on tap, not much atmosphere.

Not a great experience to be honest, service was slow and took ages to take my order and for food to come out, food itself was pretty bland and needed to by much more spicy and tasty, the staff spent more time doing takeaways and deliveries than spending time with dining guests. Decor and surrounding were quite poor and feels... More

Waited one hour for a delivery. Rice was stone cold. Chicken and lamb in the mixed grill was dry and very tough this is a shame as we've had take away many sit downs at this restaurant many times will think twice before having food from here again and wasn't cheap.

Food.gg order at 18.10, states delivery in approx. 1 hour. 3 unsatisfactory phone calls to restaurant, 1 request from restaurant that WE call the delivery driver and, with no joy, calling back only to have the phone put down on us. I had to actually go to the restaurant to ask them to locate our food to which I finally... More
