There aren't many places in St. Peter Port that are open as early as White Rock Café, which serves up large plates of decent quality, no-frills breakfasts, lunches and mugs of tea to the nearby workers, travellers and early risers. I passed the café several times before I decided to investigate. It seems busy at any given time of day... More

My friend decided we needed saturates in our lives a little while back, having not visited for many years prior. We've since become pretty much weekly visitors. The food is fast and fresh. The service is warm, unfussy and welcoming with custom orders always facilitated. The whole experience has a community feel, a spirited vibe that I can't help but... More

This little cafe is right on the port area and is very busy with workers, visitors and passing locals, but is very friendly, it is the ideal place for breakfast before a trip to one of the neighbouring islands or after dealing with condor ferries just around the corner.

Hidden in the harbour, this is a really down to earth working man cafe. Price are good for the amount of food you get. Food comes out fast and you can tell its fresh cook and the staff ate lovely. If your looking for something healthy don't bother with this place but it is great if you love a good... More

Every now and again I need a good fry up. There's plenty of fine dining in Guernsey but the White Rock slots in as one of a few paces you can get good honest food at a reasonable price. That said if you want a lobster salad it's on the menu. I have had the full English and the Sunday... More

I am giving this greasy spoon a high rating not for the food, that was average, rather for the ambiance and the fact it was open at 6:30 AM; early enough for us to have an ample breakfast and cup of coffee prior to our ferry trip to Sark. The small, clean space was located next to the Sark ferry... More

Called in here while waiting for the Hermit ferry. The cafe is convenient and inexpensive. However, the brown liquids on offer were barely recognisable examples of tasty beverages, the seats and tables were not terribly clean, and some of the mirrors clearly never were visited by Mr. Sheen ( no, not the actor. Or his son).

Whether it is a quick bite on your way to or return from a visit to Herm or Sark or just wanting refreshment for locals and visitors alike, the White Rock Café has something for everyone at very reasonable prices and very quick and friendly service. It is well known for it's "Big Breakfast" special at very good value and... More

Being an early riser this is my early morning first cuppa when visiting our daughter in Guernsey. Really a local cafe for sailors and dock workers at the port. Always busy even at 6.30am in the morning. Toast I have is just basic sliced loaf but more than welcome with a coffee at 6 in the morning.

My wife and I had a light snack and coffee here on the 25-April whilst waiting for ferry. No frills, just hearty breakfast dishes going out to tables in huge quantity and scarcely a vacant seat. Our coffee was better than average for an ordinary cafe and that's not easy to find at a reasonable price.
