Dined here once during our holiday and it was a wonderful experience for dinner. Most welcoming and efficient. Varied menu and reasonably priced considering the excellent quality of food.
The evening we dined there chateaubriand was on the menu and was absolutely fantastic. Served with fries, mushrooms, tomatoes, green salad and onion rings left one fully satisfied. Well done Kevin.

What a delightful evening with delicious food - open fish pie was a dream with turbot and scallops cooked to perfection and the raspberry trifle was yummy. Special mention to Caris who wins our best waitress EVER award. Genuine warmth and attentiveness and your recommendations on food did not disappoint. Thank you. Paul - spot on with your wine choices and that Canadian Club Old Fashioned is my new go-to cocktail.

We came here twice for lunch during our stay in Guernsey. The first time round, my wife had a Lobster Bisque and I chose something else. We were satisfied with the food and very friendly service. As a matter of fact, my wife kept going on about the Lobster Bisque that she said we need to go back one more time before going back home, so we went back to the Leopard Restaurant on Sunday. As my wife recommended the Lobster Bisque so highly, I decided to order this dish as well. When it came, I must say it tasted very bland and the texture was very watery, but I did not wish to say anything so as not to embarrass my wife, but it was not long until my wife said, that the soup had no taste today and that it was very watery. As a matter of fact she told the Waiter, who apologised and took the dish back to the kitchen, and returned with a new dish a minute or two later. But my wife commented that the soup was still very watery and had little or no taste. We suspected that this was a leftover and that there was not enough for two portions, so the Chef simply added water to make two portions. Although we did not ask for a reduction, the Waiter seemed genuinely embarrassed and and told us that he did not charge us for one of the soups. I think this was a very generous gesture. Whilst the food was a disappointment on this occasion, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we will be back. Nicholas the Waiter can be singled out in particular for his jovial and helpful manner.

Myself and three friends went and enjoyed the Tennerfest menu, we had only tried the OGH so this was our first time in the hotel for food and drinks. The menu was nicely priced, I enjoyed the chicken curry and sticky toffee pudding (probably one of the best I’ve had). The staff were friendly, we were greeted by Bobbie who was lovely and chatty and our waitress was bubbly and well mannered. The only criticism is the food took a long time to be served, despite the restaurant being fairly quiet and there was a man behind the bar who appeared to be quite rude, my husband’s friend went up to order some drinks and said he was very disregarding and overheard him talking down to another staff member. Other than this we would certainly come back and hopefully enjoy another meal around Christmas.

Attentive service without being intrusive. We were warmly welcomed on arrival into the bar. The drinks menu is extensive, the beer well kept and the wine perfectly chilled. We stayed on two separate nights in the same week and the level of service was absolutely consistent. The restaurants on line booking is straightforward to use, although reception also offer to make bookings for you on checking in. The restaurant is well appointed and the open kitchen is interesting without being distracting , quiet too with the glass wall and door. We really enjoyed the theatre of the experience. Nicholas and the whole team made us very welcome. The food is really delicious, a few highlights, the lobster & crab bisque, the open fish pie, Arthur’s curry, fish & chips, mussels , the bread rolls , especially the seeded bread and the butter. Off the restaurant is the roof terrace with a lovely view across to the port and sea beyond. Breakfast was great, the continental inclusive selection is perfectly sufficient without being tempted by the variety of the cooked offering. Just a really lovely restaurant to dine in.

We ate here whilst staying at the sister hotel, The Old Government House. We had the trio of fish and chips, which was very enjoyable and nicely presented, featuring salmon, pollack & cod. We were served by Bobby, the restaurant manager. He was courteous and very attentive. A very enjoyable evening.

Good restaurant on par with 4 star dinning in the area. Menu is fixed however there are daily specials on the dinner menu which should be given your attention. Food quality and presentation is very good.
Star food: scallops
Should be in the Michelin guide.

As we were enjoying our stay in the Old Government House Hotel so much (see my separate review) we couldn’t resist checking out the culinary delights of its sister hotel, the Duke of Richmond. We weren’t disappointed with the Leopard. There is a lovely bar to enjoy an aperitif and ponder the great choice of food and wine in the adjoining restaurant. All delicious. Our scallop risotto was an absolute triumph. Attentive, courteous and unrushed service. Tables nicely spaced. All in all a quality wining and dining experience.

The food was amazing. Lovely modern take on classic food. Portion sizes perfect.
The restaurant service (Bobby!) was absolutely amazing. We went out for my partner’s birthday and Bobby made a very special effort to celebrate this which was a wonderful surprise! We were blown away. There were several special touches from the restaurant staff which were so thoughtful and special, the kind of service you just don’t experience often. It was a very memorable evening.
Thank you so much Bobby and to your colleague in the restaurant (sorry, we didn’t catch his name!) we had an amazing dinner.

Unbelievably high quality ingredients and impeccable service. Extensive food and drinks lists with super friendly but professional service staff. Great value & such a beautiful location. Both indoor light or cosy areas along with a relaxing bar area. The staff were knowledgeable, cleanliness was high and I’ve honestly not had a dinner like that outside of where I live in Sicily where food it a religion! The chef is a creative and technical genius and has the best ingredients to work with. Would highly recommend this restaurant and bar.

Excellent food, created in a glass-fronted kitchen by an attentive chef who took time out to come and check-up on how we were doing, supported by friendly and professional staff. Definitely a place to where we will return ... would suggest a touch more edginess to create a more chilled vibe in the main dining room.

My friend and I had lunch here on Wednesday 31st May. Although the restaurant was quiet we were made very welcome and staff could not have been more attentive. The Manager was especially friendly and we exchanged pleasantries about The Oyster Box Hotel in Kwazulu Natal which I have visited a few times.
Food was amazing and beautifully served. Compliments to Chef and all staff at The Leopard Bar.
Thank you.

Fantastic meal, I’ve left my main review under the hotel page but just wanted to add what a lovely meal we’d had and how nice the chef was when he came to chat to us. Save room for a desert, the raspberry garden was just out of this world.
Lovely staff, Bobby the restaurant manager was seeing to us and was so helpful.
