Pleasant large eating area, comfortable seating. Family friendly. Efficient service on a quiet lunch time. Good range of choice on menu, and a specials board, lighter options of some main course meals. The food was of an acceptable standard, nothing special, chips slightly undercooked and greasy.

First I'd like to say that the food and service is good. But, it really isn't a pub... its more like eating at Chucky Cheese or in a McDonald's Fun House. Parents let there kids run all over the place and scream and just act awful. Tried to have a business dinner and just couldn't get anything done. So, if... More

We have eaten here many times over the last few years! The food is always very good and its a great place to take children, as theres a play room - out the back. The staff are friendly, even when they are busy! We will be returning again soon, but i would suggest booking, as this is a popular place... More

With Christmas upon us there are party menus all around. Not that that is a bad thing. The standard menu offers ample choice for everyone with many old favourites such as Fish and Chips, Steak Pie, Lasagne etc. The service is unobtrusive and efficient with the food prepared and presented well. The tables are a little small, especially when adorned... More

Popped in for lunch on the way back from a morning out on holiday based on the good reviews. Very friendly staff who looked after our little one (2 year old) well. Decent range of food on the menu for adults and children alike. Definitely worth a visit

Really enjoyed my solo lunch. I arrived at 13:05hrs and there were quite a few people sat down having lunch. About 30 seconds after entering, I was promptly greeted by a lovely lady (long pony tail), with a smile, a genuine sense of friendliness and professionalism. I was immediately shown three tables of which I could choose from. On taking... More

The food is stunning and the service is faultless......the staff are all so friendly including the owner and the wait for the food isn't too long.... More

Our 4 year old grandson thought so - so did we. Plenty of parking at 12:00 noon and a warm welcome form the staff - quickly being shown to our table and asked what we wanted to drink. Drinks arrived promptly and as I already had the order, I was able to give it whilst my wife and our grandson... More

Found this lovely restaurant purely by accident - the advantage of driving at only 35 miles an hour! The food was excellent, the staff were really helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our five visits to The Longfrie. Can recommend the Fan of Melon with Prawns and Marie Rose Sauce as a starter. (They also do Lite Bites as... More

On arriving at longfrie and looking at the menu, we realised there were very little vegetarian options available, however when we asked a member of staff about vegetarian she was extremely helpful and offered starters as mains, kids meals as adult meals. Once we had chosen our meals, they arrived promptly, presented beautifully and tasted amazing ! Would highly recommend... More
