Really disappointing food as the atmosphere in the restaurant & hotel is lovely. Pretty much tasteless crab and prawn tian, followed by monkfish curry which hadn't seen a dash of flavour or spice. I didn't dare order a dessert for fear of more disappointment. Good job the staff were good, with Earl especially offering great pre-dinner entertainment. There are many... More

We were staying in this lovely hotel and decided to have our final dinner in the hotel. The menu was fabulous. The fish was excellent and the restaurant catered professionally for my friend who is a fussy vegetarian. Probably the best ever sticky toffee pudding I have ever eaten. First class service guys!!!!

Great location overlooking the harbour. Simple food with an excellent atmosphere. The menu is not extensive but there should be something for everyone. Thursday evening there was live music too

Ate in the restaurant 3 times in one week and could not fault a single thing. No wonder it is award winning. With attentive staff and a relaxing setting, As well well as the main menu there are also daily specials. A must when visiting Brixham.

Visited with a small group for a meal. All the food was very good, not long to wait. Also good real ale.

We enjoyed our evening in this delightful establishment, it was our second visit to this hotel and everything was as good as on our first visit. The service was very friendly and helpful. There were excellent choices on the menu and and the local seafood could not be faulted. It was well worth the distance travelled from where we lived... More

On our recent visit to Brixham we ate here on 2 of our three nights in this very interesting town, best visited in mid-winter when the summer crush is avoided. My wife and I shared the challenging dish 'Fruits de mere', and it occupied us well for over an hour, with its range of seafood, including lobster, king prawns, langostines,... More

I was a little dubious about the £30 per person dinner as part of a travelzoo offer but I was not disappointed. Starters were good and main meals of risotto/ steak excellent . My wife was impressed with the amount of different fish in the risotto. One small criticism was the cheese/biscuits . If I had paid over £7 for... More
