A lovely cozy country pub, tooled away from the main area, worth searching for.
Great value for drinks, didn’t eat there, but the food looked delicious, offering pizza night on Thursday’s, and live music. Little seating area outside under a gazebo with overhead deterrents to stop the seagulls swooping down and pinching food.

Cracking pub, great beer and d wine and a lovely atmosphere. Made to feel welcome as a visitor, and came here every night of our stay. Pizza night on a Thursday was great, and even enjoyed the live music that night too. Really lucky that this was just down the road from our holiday cottage, also really lucky there’s not a pub like this just 5 minutes away from my home, would spend too much of my life there!

Probably one of Brixham's best loved pubs and when you visit you'll quickly realise why... It's immaculately clean, always a great atmosphere, fantastic selection of drinks, friendly and welcoming staff. They do pizza nights Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I have to say they are the best pizzas you'll taste this side of Exeter! But don't take my word for it, pop along and find out for yourself.

Always have a great time, friendly staff and regulars. The outdoor area is great especially in the summer. The live music bands always make for a great atmopshere too. Will try a pizza the next time i am there on a Thursday!

The oldest pub in Brixham & well worth a visit. Very traditional & unspoilt & very dog friendly. Well priced cask, the Legend being exceptionally quaffable. We all sat or stood around outside enjoying the late afternoon sun. Very interesting & quirky location.

A lovely pub, with a friendly and very welcoming ambience. Outdoor area hums with conversation and indoor is very comfortable and reasonably spacious. Good selection of beers and gins. Staff are excellent it's worth coming up the hill a bit for a proper pub experience.

Ace pub, oldest in Brixham apparently, great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Very dog friendly, with a decent mix of locals and tourists. Very friendly bar staff, highly recommended.

Found this gem while exploring the back streets of Brixham one afternoon. A traditional locals pub that hast been unspoiled by modernisation.
A dog friendly establishment with a nice outdoor seating area. A good variety of draught beers and ciders.The pub does not do food which is part of its charm.
Cheerful staff and friendly locals.

What a find! A fantastic, homely, friendly, quirky pub. Loads of character and well worth the couple of minutes walk from the main drag to visit.
It's the sort of place that you want to keep secret yet tell everyone about!

lived in paignton for 18yrs. visited brixham too many times to count .. never new this lovely pub existed..
well i do now .
found it by off chance .

Family 21st drinks.
I had never been in this pub before although being from a fishing family but moved locally.
Lovely, tiny traditional pub. Warm and inviting atmosphere. I didn’t know that it was probably one of the oldest in Brixham and Devon.

Fantastic proper pub in a tucked away location. Lovely beers and ciders and a great selection of gins and spirits. Dog friendly as well. It does have an outside seating area as well. Well worth a visit or two!

We loved this pub, staying just down the road so perfect for a quick drink but ended up in there most nights, joining in with pizza night on the Thursday and live music. Amazingly they even sold gluten free beer for me.

Great pub to visit for a quite and relaxing drink. Excellent and well stocked bar. Lovely seating, sofas etc. We enjoyed our afternoon here.
