Visited the Ring of Bells this weekend whilst staying at Bovey Castle. The food and service was excellent for every course. The only issue we had was with the wine and port that was definitely not to the same standard.

A traditional pub with a friendly bar lady, cosy seating a healthy range of beers and a temptingly impressive collection of spirits. The food arrived quickly but was all freshly prepared, generously portioned and was amongst the very best BLT with Chucky chips we have...More

Brilliant beer, great atmosphere. A traditional locals pub, but they don't all stare at you when you walk in! Quick food service, brought to you by the chef himself.. Basic pub grub at a good price. Excellent scampi and chips with homemade tartare sauce. Folk...More

Yes, but you would need to ring the landlady first. She would probably require a deposit since if you cancelled or DNA'd then she would loose a lot of revenue. Try her and see.....good luck.
