‘Fresh, Organic, Wholesome and Friendly’ with a cherry on the top! Positioned in the heart of Chagford, The Courtyard is our much loved community hub. Set up by the community, for the community in 1995, we have gained a reputation for being a great place to shop, eat and socialise. Fresh organic vegetables and high quality whole foods are sold in the shop and delicious teas, coffee and cake are served in the cafe. All served up in a friendly atmosphere created by our happy and helpful staff. Gluten free and vegan diets are always catered for. Eat in and enjoy the company and free newspapers or takeaway in our fully compostable cups and packaging.

Local produce outside, Joni Mitchell playing inside, warm, friendly, inviting and relaxing. Everything a non-corporate cafe should be. Charming staff, wonderful cake and coffee.

Stopped in for tea and cake on our walking holiday. Lovely welcome in this organic shop and cafe . Really nice cake and good facilities. Recommend the almond slice .

We were here as a family for dinner. Very impressive presentation of menu but food itself less impressive. Specialist evening (dinner) menu somewhat limited and expensive.
