We happened upon this pub the other day. Good sized car park, nice, clean and welcoming inside. We had the £12 lunch meal deal, which was very good value and excellent portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The garden area looked very nice and the views were lovely. Would certainly use again if we were in the area.

Went as a party of 6 adults and 2 (small) children for our 3rd visit to “The Highway Mans Haunt”, since our previous visit understand it has changed hands. Whilst it still looks the same there have been some changes to the food. The quality was still there but the menu had changed. Previously the Roast was on the menu,... More

I have very mixed feelings about this pub. On holiday in Devon we had an evening meal at the Highwaymans Haunt, chose it because my daughter had previously had lunch there and enjoyed her visit. We arrived early and the pub was fairly empty but during the evening filled up in readiness for quiz night. The pub looks inviting and... More

We visited on a Sunday afternoon for a carvery. As someone who eats a lot of carveries (spoiler alert), I can say this was one of the best I've had in years. Highly recommended.
