My friends and I stopped here for lunch while visiting the Moore outside Plymouth. It is charming and the typical pasty was delicious!

I rang the Inn first as Murray is in a large power chair to check on accessibility. They were incredibly helpful. When we arrived they had laid up two tables so that we could decide on which one was the best in terms of height...More

Lovely warm environment with friendly staff. Nice food and very generous portions, I would have been happy with slightly smaller sized meal.

Situated near the epic Dartmoor Park this pub offers really nice pub food with a chef whose clearly talented. Great small plates as well as main meals, the corn on the cob is the best we’ve ever had

The staff were extremely pleasant and hospitable and the food was very tasty. However the small portions and large prices did not make it value for money.

Having visited numerous Tapas restaurants one of which holds a Michelin star, I've got to say that this particular evening was of a very high standard with great food and very good value at £55 per head. There was a plentiful selection of dishes which...More

We went for the tapas and we paid £220 for four. A disgusting price for tiny portions of food and the cheapest sherry I’ll ever taste. Not a recommendation. However I’m sure the normal menu would have been better

Phillip Burgess & his wife took over this restaurant some years ago - as far as I know they're still the owners.

Description
A beautiful getaway on the fringes of the famous moors, The Dartmoor Inn at Lydfords two AA Rosette restaurant is a must for Devon diners. The series of cosy dining spaces decorated in a Sweden-meets-New-England style provide warm, intimate settings for relaxation and romance. A small, inviting bar with roaring log fire is the place for a leisurely sup before ordering from the delicious bar menu of pub classics with class. The more refined award winning Dartmoor Inn restaurant menu is worked around seasonality and hyper-local ingredients from nearby farmers and artisan producers for a British flavour with just a touch of international creativity. Retire to one of the superb rooms after dining for the full Dartmoor Inn experience.
