We stopped in for lunch having read about this place while still in America. Our high expectations were met. It was cozy, friendly and the food was wonderful. I had the rabbit pie and was delighted and the chips were first rate. It was worth the insane drive in the fog and rain of a December day. I would like... More

I love stopping at the Warren Inn for two reasons, the Warreners pie, and the fantastic views. Also it's a traditional public inn with no noisy music and the sound of crashing snooker balls, just conversation and the radio on low in the background. Just how I like it!! Superb location, and good food.

A beautifully located Inn on Dartmoor. Roaring fire during the cold months, not only warm, but gives off a lovely smell. I have not eaten hear myself, but always stop for a warming drink, when I'm passing. Careful crossing the road, some people think it is clever to see how fast they can drive through the area.

Poor service, bland mediocre food that is not as appealing as it sounds coupled with surly staff. The food was nothing special and why no children? First and last visit.

No sooner had I sat by the fire(we were all soaked from weather) I was abruptly told that there was a child's room at the back. Myself and my son were freezing. V rude bar staff. Not child friendly or thou professes too be.Am local but will not be visiting this place again. No baby changing room aswell. Poor quality!!

Very nice pub, staff where friendly. I liked the idea that no kids are allowed in the bar area. The food we had was very nice. But I was disappointed that there was only 1 rabbit choice on the menu. As expected the fires where burning well.

Went here to eat on a Friday night. There were lovely open fires and a great choice of food and drink. There was a quiz night running that was a little in favour of the locals as it featured anagrams of local place names but it was a great atmosphere and we joined in anyway but no surprise we didn't... Located in the heart of Dartmoor, this historic inn and it's constantly-burning log fire (even throughout the summer) is a great place to stop for a pint and a meal. On hot days, sit outside on the benches across the road and drink in the breathtaking views of the National Park that the pub's elevation (1,425ft/434m above sea level) affords.... More
