Handily placed in front of the large car parks at the village green. We had coffee and lunch here with friends sitting out front under an umbrella watching the world go by. A large and pleasant venue, good food and lovely staff - what could...More

The lovely large trees and beautiful old church across the road make this the ideal setting for a quick lunch in the midst of a day of touring Dartmoor. There's a surprisingly large selection to choose from and if it's a sunny day, sit outside...More

Service is always very good here, nice friendly staff. Real good selection of food, Sunday roast is excellent. In fact all the food and "I have had quite a few different choices" is very good.

Like many others who have answered we did not have a meal here just a snack. With Christmas fast approaching perhaps better to ring and book and ask menu choices.

Description
Open everyday for breakfasts, brunch, lunches and cakes served all day. We serve quality organic loose leaf tea, blended for us here in Devon. Our coffee is also roasted locally. All our food and cakes are homemade. Traditional English Food, excellent quality and locally sourced. We have ample seating inside with two log burners for the colder / wetter days. Outside in the garden, again lots of seating, overlooking the village green and towards the church.
