Simply terrible. Over cooked. Roast potatoes laying in gallons of grease. Mushy vegetables. Grim. Very cheap food but would prefer to pay 4 tines the price and go somewhere else.

Went for Sunday lunch here and will never go again!!! Tables were sticky and dirty, and cutlery was not in the best of condition! Meat on offer was pork, gammon or beef but was pre cut and held in metal tins! Not very mouthwatering Peas were the only decent tasting veg on offer, cabbage had over cooked bits in....at first... The wife and I went here for the carvery. People were actually waiting outside before the doors opened at 12. It was cheap but still you expect at least a small amount of quality. Roast potatoes are deep fried. Meat is pre sliced sandwich meat. Cabbage reminded me of a school meal. Really really poor. Was in and out in... More

So pleased to have found this place. What a breakfast. It's a truly enjoyable meal, at a reasonable price, and for those on a glutton free diet, fully accessible. Great owner and staff who were very welcoming. Think I'll go again....

Handy early evening when we didn't want a sit down meal, but had a burger or hot dog takeaway set up . there was a buffet available as well as your normal pub grub menu available so quite a choice. Burgers and hot dogs were fine. We could play pool and darts at one end of the pub but seemed... More

Should have realised when the carpark was empty and only one couple eating. Asked for a menu and got one covered in brown sauce, looked at the carvery which didnt look good at all so ordered from the main menu, then sat down, food all over the floor, table covered in grease not very pleasant. Food arrived and my grand-daughters... More

Should have realised that when priced £3.50 for a child's carvery and £7 for an adults that something would be wrong . Terribly disgusting food resembling what I would imagine an old school canteen to be like . The meat was thin sliced pre cooked packaged meat , the veg was sloppy and slimey and tasted as if it had... More

Well done to all the staff very friendly, I just wish I could help to put this ship back on course. Our meal was ok with no complaint. A great pub in a great location this place should be packed to the rafters but sadly not. the car park although huge is very misleading signs every where about parking and... More

We visited the welcome Inn yesterday for our evening meal, my daughter 9 years old ordered the carvery and we were really disappointed. The potatoes were rock hard and she couldn't really bite into it, the carrots tastes and smelt like they were soaked in vinegar. She went up to get some peas as she couldn't eat most of her... More
