Special night out, service excellent, food superb for all six meals, starters, main courses and dessert. Shellfish, game, steak and fish couldn't be faulted.. Best place to eat in Instow without a doubt.

LOVE this amazing venue; it was so great to meet owners Bob & Lucy and Nicky and the team who are notably warm and welcoming. I was there to talk about the marine conservation, research and education work of The National Lobster Hatchery and it...More

Dinner for 4 adults. Our first time at this restaurant and quite surprised at the quality of the food. Good menu although a number of the specials were unavailable. A little expensive for the location - city prices, but no complaints from our table. Attentive...More

All of the four main dishes we had were excellent, with good quality fresh fish imaginatively cooked. All were pretty substantial too, so unless you have a large appetite, starters aren't needed. Very good service despite being quite full - the popularity of this restaurant...More

We booked a table for 10 in the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was great and all of our party young and old enjoyed their lunch. We went for the fish and the seafood and it was, as usual, excellent. This is one...More

Lovely location and atmosphere. The place was very busy but we were found a table in the bar really quickly. My partner chose the salmon and prawn curry and I had the fish pie, both from the specials board. The curry tasted lovely and had...More

Really amazing how owners can allow a restaurant in such a wonderful location to look so tired. First impressions are so important and the greeting was one of " Yes just sit anywhere " Wonderful specials menu board but the starters were straight out of...More

Access into the place is difficult for less mobile people as there are steps to climb. Do not recall any wheelchair access or disabled toilets, however, all establishments should provide this. Hope that helps. Best to call... More
