It was warm and welcoming on a very dismal day, the staff were nice and friendly. Called in at lunchtime for a plough mans which was plentiful, well worth it.

Popped in for pint of cider late Sunday afternoon after walking Morte Trail, feeling peckish as well as thirsty. Lunch was over but barmaid happily served sticky toffee pudding and cream, just the job!

We reached the Chichester Arms at 2:45 and we had a great Sunday roast and a pint of local ale. We were made to feel most welcome and we had very satisfied appetites when we left. Thanks. We needed our walk back to Woolacombe (The long way!)

Staying just a few minutes down the road for a week. Popped in for early food, friendly staff, ok selection of ales, could have done with a slightly wider mix for me, but as two Xmas ales are in it tends to push down the darker end of the scale, but the food - wow - amazing, the game Casserole... Stayed in Mortehoe for a winter weekend walking break. The village was quiet and as way out of season so was the pub. But we have been previously when busy .. busy or quiet the hospitality and food is lovely. It's not a la Carte .. it's really decent no frills local produce pub grub!! We had home made pate... More

Great ales, excellent food and a warm welcome! Just the place to have a pint before or after exploring the enigmatic beauty of Morte Point

We were meandering around north Devon and came across Mortehoe and the Chichester Arms. Lovely village and warm, welcome from the pub staff. Extremely yummy Sunday roast with all the trimmings washed down by a marvellous pint of Tribute. Well worth a visit and we'll be back when we next visit Devon.

We visit Devon every year and stay in the village so often find us going back. Menu hasn't changed in recent years, although the specials are always good. Desserts are often very tasty - although on our recent visit there wasn't as much choice. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. Good choice of board games on the side for people... More

A really excellent place to eat lunch. Easy parking. Lots of tables. Pleasant staff and a varied menu. I hadon't crab salad and my husband loved his chilli con carne. I wanted the fruit pie but just dint have the room! Beer and cider choices are excellent. This is a very popular eating place even out of season, but we'll... More

My partner and I recently stayed at a nearby caravan park and decided to visit the Chichester Arms for a Sunday roast. Lovely.
