First time trying the new carvery menu and my goodness they didn’t disappoint. Tasty and tender meats, crunchy roast potatoes and a large selection of veg and cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. The food was absolutely lovely and banging. The decorations were so cool, actually, me and my family played a game, guess how long it took them to set them up! I had a wonderful experience, the staff were so nice! They were absolutely hilarious, and...the place is gigantic! Also, (may be TMI) they decorated the bathroom door with all the halloween stuff, we came in October. At the end, we went to go look at the fish, we called them Bob and Jeremy, and I fell over into the giant box of decorations. But I do have 1 complaint, The leaflets were out of date. It said “what is new in 2021?” And to the best of my knowledge, (I’m pretty smart too) it is currently 2023. But overall, it was amazing. I totally recommend.More

That was one of the best pub and food and Athmosphere experiences I have had for a long time in this country!!! The meat platter that we shared was enormous and the meat all cooked prefectly! The gravy was also delicious and so were the...potatoe fries and everything else. There were two bars serving a huge selection of beers and I enjoyed a good bottle of red wine. But best of all was also the superb staff with Chloe and Sean and Jess! Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening and I can't wait to come back!! AllieMore

Comfortable, roomy pub. Tasty, generous lunch, way beyond our expectations. Our server, Abs, was cheerful and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble for her. Very dog friendly.

Came upon this little gem while up from Cornwall looking for a car. Loved the outside seating area in little sheds, really friendly staff and great atmosphere. Sunday roast with a smoke House twist was absolutely bang on. The meat was cooked to perfection, melt...in your mouth brisket. Look forward to coming back up to try other items on the menu. Real food not out of the freezer.Our burgers were large enough that most members of the family struggled to finish them.The smoked meat was so flavoursome probably the very best we have had.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.the staff were all very friendly.

We t for lunch last Friday. The food was fantastic and such an amazing selection. The atmosphere even at lunchtime wa great with real toe tapping music selections. Abs was great, really helpful and we will most definitely be back.

What can I say?! Friendly staff welcomed us in, loads of choice for drinks (lots of local drinks too!) Food platter arrived and everything was DELICIOUS!
