We stayed in The New Coach House, at the rear of the pub. A self Catering bungalow. We had a lovely stay. Bungalow a little dated, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We used it as a base to visit lots of...More

I am not quite sure why there are so many positive reviews. We had a evening meal which was overpriced and a sign of someone trying too hard. £15 a main.... The Goats Cheese/Green Pesto Risotto just did not work. Tuna with New Potato Mash?...More

Visited quite a few times as this is our local. The food has always been top notch with a great selection. Sunday roast is good value and we never leave hungry.

Friendly , good food. Nice selection and good choice of beers and wine, the New Zealand say' blanc' is worth having and comes at a good price.

One of the loveliest pubs ive ever been to, authentic and cosy. Great roast dinner. Good location for a stop off on a walk for a pint or food, walking distance from Snapdown caravan site which i also love. Top notch!

We had an awful time here. The landlord/ barman was rude and aggressive , as if we were a nuisance rather than customers. The food was over cooked and barely edible. It's the worst experience we have had for at least 20 years anywhere.
