We sat in the pretty little garden at the back with our dog, who was made to feel welcome. I order a cream tea and was pleased to find that the scone was warm, the jam was strawberry and the cream was clotted - what I expect from a perfect cream tea. Our waitress said the scones had been freshly... More

We arrived just before 5 pm, were welcomed and shown round to the gardens. We had a delicious strawberry cream tea, complete with candle for my birthday, and delicious earl grey tea, loose leaf. The Scones were yummy and there was lots of jam and cream. The staff made us so welcome and there was no pressure to leave. we... More

I had a gorgeous cream tea out in the rear garden. The aesthetics were to die for, especially as the sun was shinning.

My friend andi stopped here for a well deserved drink being out for a day's walking. We had the dog with us. We received a lovely welcome, the service was excellent and when the waitress found out we were going to buy a biscuit for the dog, dog biscuits were provided. The tea garden is beautiful and the menue choice... More

When in this part of the world, cream teas are something different and quite special. This little cafe offers a range of tea and cakes but the Dorset Cream tea is a must. Clotted cream sticks to the ribs but tastes so good. Quick service and great food.

We attended here on the way though to Bridport. We had a cream tea which was very delicious as well as a toasted sandwich which had a good portion of filling. My only issue is that you have to pay extra for decaf tea...only 10p but still! All in all though very clean and friendly staff
