Great pub

Not too busy, friendly locals wanting to chat. Drinks reasonably priced, loved the decor. We had burgers which were a bit dry and over-cooked but we would definitely visit this pub again for drinks and try something else on the menu.

Sunday lunches are excellent

Highly recommend the Sunday carvery, choice of meats always excellently cooked and a good choice of vegetables.

Inviting Pub

Great food locally

We ate here on Saturday with a few friends, we had not booked a table in advance. The food is reasonably priced with many options on the menu. Everything seemed to be homemade and cooked really well. The pizzas are rustic and very good.

Answer

We do a carvery on a Sunday 12-2pm. The 15th will be the last one before Christmas. The carvery will be back 05/01/20. The main menu is available over Christmas time. We are very dog friendly 🙂
