I love popping into this cafe when I am in Bridport, the menus is small but full of nice dishes. I love their doorstep sandwiches and their tortilla, just delicious. I am either vegetarian or vegan but they have some lovely vegetarian dishes. I found...their coffee has a bit of a funny undertaste, not sure I like their coffee bean choices. Their baked cheesecake is lovely but some of their (vegan?) cake slices were also not quite my taste. However, those are my personal tastes, other may very well disagree.More

Visited with the family for a late lunch. The generations all loved the food and the ambience. Short queue to get started but the experience more than made up for the frustration of waiting. We all had vegetarian options and they were packed full of...flavour. Coffee was great, cake delicious.More

We had the most delicious meal here while staying in Bridport for the Literature festival. We had tried coffee one morning with the most delicious cinnamon buns I’ve ever had so couldn’t wait to try their dinner menu. The service is lovely, very friendly and...helpful team who know all about the food. We had confit garlic with sourdough which was so tasty and different. We then had potatoes with pesto and beetroot warm salad - both so tasty and beautifully prepared. Lovely organic wines and a great cocktail selection. I only wish we lived nearer- we’d be there all the time!More

Excellent coffee with a good range of different coffees. Very chilled atmosphere. The chocolate and chestnut brownie was spectacular.

We simply love the food and atmosphere at Soulshine. It's hard to walk past when we go into town. The supper clubs and guest events are really great. We really enjoyed two events this year with Robin and recently Sabrina Gidda.

I went here for lunch with the wife, after perusing the menu, nothing really grabbed my liking. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food, but next to nothing for the now virtually extinct meat eater; just one dish. My wife had a toasted cheese...sarnie which came out as two doorstep slices of bread with cheese melted in the middle; no finesse as with the other dishes. I understand you can’t please everyone; if you are a vegetarian or a vegan, you’ll love this place, if you fall into the category of the virtually extinct meat eater, sadly this is not the place for you.More

Fabulous food and drinks. Great knowledgeable staff and fantastic tapas style food. We were not disappointed, we left feeling well fed, happy and had thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The decor and ambiance were certainly conducive for an enjoyable time.

As a gluten & dairy free pescatarian I generally find eating out to be a bit of a nightmare, but the cafe was brilliant, with the best g/f bread I’ve ever had, the portions are large, Mum took half her sandwich home in a doggie...bag. We sat out the back in a lovely courtyard garden with our dog. I recommend the roasted carrot & humous sandwich. No room for a cake but they looked delicious as did all the home cooked pies & quiches etc. very relaxed & friendly, can’t fault it.More

We were taken to Soulshine while staying with friends, it was absolutely packed so we had a small wait for a table. It was worth it! Great coffee, delicious cakes and a tortilla and aliloi which was the taking point of our entire summer!

Stopped by for lunch on the way to Cornwall having been recommended. We ordered Pesto Pasta, Lamb meatballs and the courgette tortilla. Probably one of the best lunches we have had for a long time. The food tasted amazing. The service was excellent and could...not beat the ambience. Could not recommend highly enough.More

I had such a lovely meal with my Boyfriend for his birthday. I would love to compliment Ella especially for her enthusiastic and bubbly service, she made the meal very special. The food was amazing and it’s such an affordable place to come for a...small plate experience. 👏👏More
