The food was beautiful and lived up to the reviews we read. My husband had fish and chips with the fish resembling a small whale as it was so big! I had the mussels which again was a good sized portion, although one piece of...More

Eight of us plus toddler arrived for lunch on Thursday and found a table outside. Great views and it is worth if for that. Orders are placed at the bar so if there is anyone in front it can be a bit of a wait....More

Yet again the beer was good, food fantastic and staff efficient and friendly. What more can you ask of a pub. And no crowds or tacky pizza bars either.

Serves a very imaginative menu in a lovely location. The Anchor has been cleverly modernised to preserve its traditional character. Friendly and welcoming.

Ordered food at the bar, was no apology for the wait. Bar man was rude and very sarcastic to me. I ordered hotdog and fish and chips, waited a very long time and no apology when food was served.

We serve the finest Palmer's Ales and fantastic food with ingredients sourced from the best local producers. Our cliff top terrace comfortably seats 100 and the views are arguably some of the best in the country, if not the world!During the summer months we serve a great selection of fresh fish & shellfish caught from West Bay and Weymouth, and lobsters straight from our beach! In winter, the emphasis changes to hearty stews, slow cooked meats and watching the storm waves crash in with the comfort of our roaring wood burner. So whether you're after a light bite, a full on lunch or dinner, or just a pint or two, then The Anchor Inn at Seatown is the place for you!!
