Since we have an apartment very near the Marina we must have been in The Boat That Rocks 2 or 3 times. Every time we go there it is a major disappointment. Service is poor (staff are not interested), the place is generally not clean, the coffee is awful and the food is average to poor. What a great location.... More

Its Interesting that the manager doesn't reply or comment on the reviews,as they used to.We are still waiting to see some decent reviews for a reversal of the service and food quality. It would nice and convenient to enjoy the Boat that Rocks as we did a few years ago,I fear that now they have established an extremely low level of... Let's start by saying I have been going to The Boat that Rocks since it opened. It is in a lovely setting and has great potential. However, last Tuesday night we arrived at 9:45pm and asked for a coffee (we were driving and couldn't drink alcohol). We were told "we can't serve coffee, we have just cleaned the machine for... A meal was booked for a group of us without looking at the reports on Trip Advisor so it was with some trepidation that we went to the Restaurant for a Lunch. The location is superb. The meal was of good Pub Grub quality, arrived quickly and the service reasonable. It was rather expensive although the portions were large. The... More

Having visited 2 weekends in a row the review couldn't be more Polar! First time last weekend great staff great service in a great location. Unfortunately today the staff were all but one very disappointing, deciding that walking past and ignoring you are the bar a new favourite past time, it's not like it was busy. Then the typical knifes... More

Enjoyed a steak night recently- they were cooked to perfection and cheesecake was divine! Only thing that lets this place down is the service which isn't great .i have been here many times and wish this could be sorted out as the food is lovely.

Been to the boat that racks several times for breakfast and morning coffees and every time it is woeful. Breakfast items are very poor for the money with the items lacking in quality. At busy times the place is a mess and the service is a disaster. Sometimes you have to wait about 30 mins for your coffee and there's... More
