Came here for a breakfast/brunch. The food was excellent hot and tasty and they do really good vegetarian options.

Attended a private party here with 28 people for a special Birthday meal and enjoyed amazing food and great service from hosts Jo and Luciano and team. Choosing from a pre-ordered menu, no-one was disappointed with the range of choices and with the absolutely gorgeous food. It was the first time at Blue Fish for us but we would recommend... More

This restaurant is open, I believe for private bookings. We had a large family gathering, 30 of us, and the meal was fantastic along with service. We are a large family and usually meet up once a year, we have already booked this venue again for next year. Excellent location, food and service, cannot recommend this venue high enough.

We understand that the Blue Fish is only open sporadically - working more as a pop-up bar, rather than a regular restaurant so we feel quite lucky to have managed to get a table. On arrival, it was a very warm welcome which was great. Unfortunately, it was about 20 minutes before we were given a menu, and another 10... More

If only the Blue Fish were open all the time! But then, people would have to make it worth Luciano's while. Luciano, Jo and family provide some of the freshest, tastiest local fish and seafood you can get - and certainly the best food in Portland. But Luciano has branched out into private catering and other ventures, so you need... More

the best kept secret on Portland. The quality of the food and the inspiration of the chef made our meal one of the best I have eaten in the UK, ever, and I am 58 !!!

What a wonderful surprise to find my favourite restaurant open for business again - and just as good as ever! Excellent quality ingredients, imaginative food, reasonably priced, a lovely atmosphere and super-friendly, helpful staff. Nowhere locally comes close to achieving all these things so well. This is definitely the best kept secret in Dorset! Welcome back Luciano et al -... More

We booked in at the blue fish for a hen party meal out. The ambience was lovely, very pretty vintage chic. The staff were fab, the chef was wonderful. Very friendly atmosphere. Just make sure you pre book as only open for bookings.

What a shame I've left it until their final month to fully experience this wonderful chefs work. First class experience from start to finish. Magical interior, welcoming + relaxed front of house, attentive waitress, every plate to come out was fine dining (table of 5, 3 courses each), smooth house red, chef visited our table afterwards. Entire experience has to... More

Not a resteraunt that I would normally goto as I thought it was a fish only place as in the title. But I am glad that I did, in fact went again four days later. Service and food excellent. Highly recommended.
