Our last 2 visits here were pretty dismal and we reviewed the place accordingly. A year on and we were persuaded to come again for a lunch on a very cold February day. I am very pleased to say that the experience this time bore...More

Stopped for a very nice Scotch Broth in this country pub near Wareham & Corfe Castle and a pint of Badger Ale, probably a busy pub in the summer.

Seven of us dined for a late lunch, having the roast dinner and steak and ale pie. All home cooked and good portion sizes. Everyone was very satisfied after! Recommended.

Twixt there and there, on the top road road round Poole harbour - you wonder why there aren't millions of eateries along this stretch. Really good food and service - best to book during high summer. Lovely place

The Halfway Inn is a dog friendly pub and as signs on the front door state we do allow well behaved dogs on leads throughout the pub. This is not something that we envisage changing. We are a country pub.

Hi Samantha, yes we allow our guests to stay over in the car park after their meal with us. All we ask is that you park at the far end of the car park to allow access for deliveries to get in on the mornings.
