Sadly the food was seriously marred by the rudeness of the staff and the service, needless to say I will most definitely not be returning and am told there fish and chips shops within the vicinity that are much better for both food and service. I am not a person who would ordinarily give any business a poor review.

Went to this fish and chip shop again yesterday it was very busy however the staff handled it well and was very organised. I had a large cod and chips. The large cod was large unlike other fish and chip shops and was cooked to perfection and I couldn't finish it all unfortunately. The curry sauce they provide is the... More

A flying visit to pick up chips was so superfast...the nearest experience I will get to drive thru'. I don't eat junk food but a craving for chip shop chips with my home cooked fresh cod saw me dash to Long John's. The service and chips were excellent.

I have had a few meals from here and there is a particular lady that normally serves that is pretty rude. No please, no thank you, bag slammed down with "there you go", no smile. Won't be going again. Food is good but rubbish service and they can't even be bothered to do the salt and vinegar.

Ordered cod and chips on a Saturday night. Good service, friendly staff. Good ordering system in place. Quality food. Seemed to be cooked on the spot. Good value for money

Having read several reviews on this place and had it recommended by others I tried it. The fish was very greasy and I had to pick out the best chips as I think they had mixed overcooked with undercooked. Not a great experience and I will look for another fish and chip shop in the area. Quite expensive too.

As a family we have used this as the default Fish and Chip shop in Wimborne for many years ( on and off ). I was slightly disappointed with the overall fayre with respect to food quality and price. This is, by coincidence, a direct comparison with a shop in Poole we visited a few days beforehand

Found this on trip advisor - just 1.5 miles from where we are staying. Lovely fish and chips and a great choice of alternatives inc smaller sizes etc.
