Still a great place for a beer and good food. One of my favourite places in Wimborne. An original but modernised character pub just off the square.
The food was excellent and good value for money, real chips! The staff were friendly and helpful. The outside area was very pretty and had plenty of space. However, it could have done with a slide, climbing frame or some thing of that kind to...More
I found the lady who works here quite rude. We weren't warned that there was karaoke until gone 11:15pm, creaky floorboards, paper thin walls, shared bathroom which is super basic, and dated decor. The man who works here seemed friendly and gave us a smile...More

Whether you are looking for a friendly and welcoming pub or good food with value for money we would recommend The Albion. Chat at the bar or want to sit at a table with food highly recommended.

First review I've ever written but, having found this pub by chance, just had to. Sunday lunch could not be faulted. Free top-up of vegetables offered. Excellent. Friendly staff amd locals. Thank you. Shame we don't live nearer!
An old coach house newly re-opened and refreshed. The oldest pub in Wimborne is, for me, the best of them all. Friendly and attentive hosts, good food and a choice of ales. A greeting from, the amazingly astute Labrador, Honey is another of the highlights....More
