No atmosphere might have been the time we went in.. Had a pint of cooking larger fosters not Stella a small glass of coke draught just short of£6. The place feels run down. Definitely would not make a visit by choice.

Regularly visit the Duke on a Sunday and the dinner never fails to please. We always end up staying to see the artist afterwards and have a wonderful time, but not good for a Monday morning early start at work ;)

Went in the tea room. Quieter than the pub but still busy. A ham sandwich with salad, coleslaw and crisps was £3.95. Excellent value.
Read reviews on here and noted it was supposed to have been refurbished, as we were in Cottingham on business went to give it a try. We actually walked in used the toilets and walked out again so cannot comment on either the pub food...More

Me and my partner go to the Duke of Cumberland for drinks, and it always sets a lovely atmosphere. Theres also a lovely beer garden for the summer time.
