Simply the best accommodation we have experienced. Spotless and delightfully appointed room. Professional, friendly staff. Gorgeous breakfast. Husband really enjoyed the special whiskey and craic with Fintan. Will be back again soon.

Once again I am remembering as to why I love this place so much! I haven't been here since before Covid and the only thing that changed was the food and service were even more delightful! I took four US friends here to experience my...favourite place to visit!! We stayed overnight. The accomodations are as good, if not better, than the best venues I have visited across the world, right down to the rubber duck in the bathroom!! The food continues to be absolutely sensational!! It is owner and family run and the whole family greeted me as if I was a long lost family member myself! Gerard and Fiona and their family are some of the nicest people I know! My friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves and understand why Oranmore is my favourite place! Well worth a visit! They don't have a Michelin star! [No, I don't have shares and I'm not related to the family!!]More
Lovely warm welcome 🙏 Staff were amazing Food was so so so Good Reception room lovely open fire Dinning room was Beutiful What a 💎 near Ballymena
This accommodation is set in an older house-decor really outdated and rather contrived. Lots of useless decor in the bathroom-would be much better to provide sufficient bathroom essentials. The breakfast option indicated locally produced yogurt- Mueller containers of yogurt are not locally produced! Also variety...packs of cereal from buffet table. Hot breakfast was available however-absolutely no bread was made available which would be standard and toast was requested- given only a couple of barely warm slices!!!! Overpriced at £160 for 1 night. Very disappointing.More
Stayed here for a wedding and couldn't fault it - the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us! The breakfast was delicious, so filling and with lots of great options. The bed was very comfy + a lovely hot shower in our...room. Would definitely stay again - thank you!More
Terrible experience, we were here for my niece’s wedding day, Door handle was broken, we couldn’t get into our room, bed we’re very basic, no mattress protector, shower was a trickle, Breakfast was gross.. burnt bacon, undercooked potatoe and soda bread,COCKTAIL sausages ???? Totally wrong...AND extortion price , £150 a night for a horrible experience 👀 Tullyglass charged the same for a beautiful experience as my daughter stayed there on the same night I will absolutely NOT recommend the OranmoreMore
I stopped here for just one night, and what a great place. The staff so friendly, efficient and professional amazing. The place is set well back from the road in lovely well managed grounds and the hotel itself is styled in a traditional country Manor...style, quite opulent without being "stuffy" indeed a very relaxing vibe runs through the place. Breakfast excellent very tasty.More
I booked afternoon tea for my husband and my parents' inlaw today. I have to say I was utterly impressed from start to finish. The grounds are immaculately kept with brightly coloured flowers and manicured trees dotted around. Inside this guesthouse is such a treat...for the soul featuring many interesting antiquities and labouring under what I assume is quite like a Victorian interior design that epitomizes opulence. I was delighted to find that everything served to us was made/created/baked/grown on site and prepared just for us! Talk about VIP treatment. Everything was delicious and bursting with flavour from the fresh sandwiches to start and warm freshly baked scones. The sweets were delectable and plentiful. My favourite were the raspberry tarts! The blueberry muffins were drizzled in white chocolate, and the panne cotta was on point ! Which is very rare to come across even in 5 star hotels. Overall, this guest house is a true hidden gem ! I this was the best afternoon tea I have ever had !! We can't wait to go back to experience their dinner menu. The staff were all amazing and very helpful and friendly. They made us feel so welcome and valued. Thank you to Geraldine and Gérard for making my husbands birthday very special.More
Afternoon tea. Was very underwhelmed by the afternoon tea for 30 pounds and especially the childrens sausage and chips, consisting of two deep fried sausages, decent enough chips and a small ice cream for 14.50 each. The room is pleasant, the table setting very pleasant...too and the staff whilst young provided good service. However if you charge 30 for an afternoon tea then expect to be benchmarked accordingly. Wolsley in London is 39.50 e.g. Generally everything about the food was not what one expects at this price point starting with range of 3 teas from a tea bag. 3 small sandwiches home made style. Scone was fine but very small. And worst of all traybakes in a 30 pounds afternoon tea and a muffin / cupcake one. Need I say any more.More
This is a family owned small hotel that is run with a lot of pride and love. We were met and greeted by our names on arrival and despite them being busy we were welcomed and shown to our room. A huge palatial room with...all the comforts you could ask for. We stayed for dinner that first night and had a gorgeous bottle of wine and later were entertained in the bar by the son who made us some amazing cocktails. We were there for four nights and will definitely go back. Our room wasn’t just cleaned everyday it was deep cleaned - shiny bathrooms and clean towels everyday . It really was a joy to stay there. Beautiful well kept gardens that are a delight to walk round. If I could give more than 5 stars I would - you made our stay just perfect - ThankyouMore
Booked in for 2 nights in July. On arrival we received a very warm & friendly welcome. We had dinner which was very tasty & beautifully presented. Breakfast was included with no shortage of choices & always with brilliant service. Fresh homegrown produce.close to the...local shops. From when we arrived until we unfortunately had to leave the staff looked after us very well. A train station is close & great reason to take a day trip to portrush without the hassel of queing in traffic or where to park when you get there. They also offer food throughout the day for non staying guests. Highly recommend.More
Went here for a meal after my graduation. We began with drinks in the lounge and then went to the dining room for dinner. The setting was so relaxing and elegant. Our meal was amazing. Food cooked to perfection and very tasty. Staff were so...welcoming and friendly. The surrounding grounds are beautiful. Would really recommend for a special occasion. 5 stars!More
I stayed at Oranmore for an overnight stay whilst playing golf at Galgorm Castle which is very nearby. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. The staff and owners are so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. The room I was given was more...like a suite with beautiful ornate furniture and a beautiful big bathroom. Very comfortable and extremely clean and hygienic. The breakfast the following morning was second to none. I know that Oranmore also offer lunches, teas and dinner as I've also heard rave reviews about their food. If you need a great place to stay in Ballymena, I totally recommend Oranmore. It's more a boutique hotel than a B&B. 5 stars!More
A*. Meal was beautiful . Excellent service. Would highly recommend. Beautiful surroundings. Compliments to the chef and staff! Diane (Banbridge)
First impression was the beautifully kept gardens surrounding the house . We had cocktails in the bar before our dinner in the beautiful dining room . Loved the table setting . Spotless hand crocheted table cloth and fresh flowers . Although the house is full...of antiques it’s is absolutely spotless ,such a credit to the family run business. We had a delicious starter of a sundae type of dish full of prawns and sauce and served with home bread wheaten . For main the others had chicken Ballantine , I had Coq saint Jaques which was full of prawns and scallops ,beautifully presented . This all came with selection of fresh vegetables and potato’s of your choice all freshly cooked . Ended with a delicious home made brownie and caramel ice cream . Highly recommended If you like freshly cooked food in a spotless surroundings , and beyond amazing service . Can’t praise this place enough . Will definitely return .More
