Dinner, well that what we booked. Words fail me. I have finally been able to blank the food totally from my memory bank. The coffee was a pot of hot water and Nescafé sachets - I think that tells you all you need to know

Called in today Sun 15 Jan 17 for Sunday Lunch in the main bar. It was nice, quiet and comfortable seating to enjoy lunch. We had a couple of drinks to start then ordered. Visited today after lunchtime with a small family group. Two of us had wheaten scones which were unbelievably bad, probably the worst I have ever had the misfortune to be served. Service was fine, scones were not.

I visited the millbrook today with my family for the Sunday carvery for my sons birthday. On arrival I spoke to the receptionist and explained that my youngest son who has just turned 6 was autistic and wouldn't eat the carvery and if he was to eat anything at all it would be a spoonful of potato with gravy and... We called in for a meal on our way home from a day round the coast. We had a lovely meal. I had the roast beef dinner and my friends had the chicken and ham and the fish with bubble and squeak. It was all very tasty. We were too full for a sweet but saw someother folk getting them... More

We are annual visitors when visiting the in-laws and over the years have always had good basic food - especially the roast. We arrived this time to find an amazingly modern and up market renovation had been done - whilst we loved it think my father in law was slightly less comfortable than normal. However warn welcome, great service -... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of holding our wedding reception in the Millbrook Lodge on 29th August 2015. From the moment we arrived at the hotel and meet Deborah (hotel wedding planner), we knew this was the place as Deborah was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. On the big day, when we arrived we were greeted... More

Great hotel venue with nice ambience. Popped in and had a great lunch whilst enjoying the lovely surrounds from the big veranda.

Whilst millbrook lodge has been newly refurbished the food still served is sub standard. It tastes like it has been re heated and honestly you could cook a nicer meal at home.
