Lovely lunch today at the Georgian House. Extensive menu with loads of GF options. I had GF sausage with champ and cabbage, it was delicious 😃. Kids menu was great too, food freshly prepared and plenty of it too. Great coffee and tray bake. A bright spacious dining room with friendly service, well worth a visit.

After hearing lovely reviews about going here for Tea and Scones I have since been twice. It is a lovely building and good service. Will be back for more yummy and exotic scones.

Just back from a late lunch. Wanted something small. Ordered the chicken open and steak open sandwich. 9.00 and 9.60 each. Not sure it's value for money for a chicken breast 2 small slices of bread mixed salad leaves and mayo dressing. Or steak salad leaves tobacco I onions and pepper sauce. Add soft drinks and it was 25.00. Service... More

The Georgian House is a tasteful coffee shop and restaurant in the central square of a pretty Plantation town. It's 18th century facade welcomes you into period rooms with real coal fires, local art and amazing food. The scones, baked each morning, are delicious, served with bottomless coffee. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere make this a must-visit venue.

This was my first visit to the Georgian House, though my wife has been several times. We arrived at about 12.30 on an ordinary weekday to find it almost full, but were shown to the table quickly and our order taken after several minutes perusal of the extensive menu. My open prawn sandwich was delicious. Most places offer it on... More

Quaint little spot, lots of room and very clean. Coffee and scones to die for, served by lovely young local people. A super way to spend a break from the hectic world 😊😊

Staff lacked experience and the food was very average. We have eaten here before when things were very different.
