We were looking for a coffee on an autumnal afternoon and The Goose caught our eye - we wanted somewhere that would be different and let you relax for a while and read. Up a little alleyway in a quiet courtyard just off the square The Goose from the outside certainly ticked the boxes. The cafe is quite spacious and... More

The Goose cafe is small - no more than a dozen tables - and fills up quickly at lunch time. The menu is nice with a good selection of tasty sandwiches and paninis all made fresh as you order. The setting is nice in an entry off the square. We enjoyed our lunch and will go back again.

Consistently good food and friendly staff. Love the ambience of The Goose. Relaxed atmosphere and efficient service. We both always enjoy our lunch here and find it hard to resist one of the great tray bakes with a coffee to finish....so we don't resist!

The Goose cafe is a hidden gem just off the Comber square which features a coffee shop and an upstairs shop with handmade jewellery and crafts. Situated in a beautiful flowery courtyard, this is a real suntrap on a fine day. Inside is a bustling and pretty cafe, clearly popular with its clientele and managed by polite and cheerful staff.... This is a lovely coffee shop tucked away in a small courtyard. The enclosed area has a number of outdoor tables and is the best in Comber in the sunshine. Inside has two levels with two small steps between them. 12-15 tables I'd guess of 2-6 person size. Upstairs has a small gift shop. Hippy chique style with painted chairs... More
