Called in for coffee and scones. Our waitress was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and all done with a smile. Thank you.

Had lunch here and the food was really tasty, substantial and good value. Coffee was excellent too. Great service including water for the dogs. Great experience and would definitely go again.

Went in yesterday for cup of tea and caramel shortbread as twice before loved our visit. This time met with a very torn-faced waiter who put menu on table and a card and pen for "track and trace," no explanation, no smile or conversation! Charged...£11.50 for two teas and two caramel shortbread, absolutely shocking service this time, Probably not be back.More

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Tasty Mac n cheese, scrummy halloumi baguette thing, Cajun chicken burger, spicy and tasty and glorious skin on chips. Under £10 a head including drinks... we’ll be back for a cheeky lunch date again...

We arrived here for a quick bite and were served pretty quickly which was great and given enough time to check out the menu. Came pretty quickly but that's were the greatness ended really. Whilst it looked good it was a pricey mistake. Ordered a...breakfast roll with sausage and a steak baguette. Very disappointed as on closer inspection it seemed like they had both been nuked in the microwave before being delivered to the table(assuming this as the food was burning hot in the middle and tepid at the edges). Chips were mostly solid and overbaked, beef in the baguette was as dry as a bone and there was more onions than anything which ended up on the side. Two sad, thin sausages in a roll which had been overheated and was very dry. Such a shame too as I was looking forward to it. The setting seems OK though, a bit of an eclectic mix. Reminded me a little of a skiing chalet and lodge. Service was good. Shame the food was an unfortunate let down.More

This was probably worst bacon sandwich. There were only 2 very small bacon medallions and it was the thinnest bacon. Barely tasted any bacon in my roll. Our tea and coffee didn’t arrive until after we had finished eating. On the positives, loved the decor...of the cafe.More

Hazelnut latte with coconut milk.Delish!! Im working through the...menu and everything I've had has been absolutely lovely. The Cullen skink is one of the best. The vegan pasta is gorgeous. The steak baguette is so good. The meat isn't fatty at all.The fish and chips is really very nice. The chicken burger is great. I love the ice cream in the different type of cones they have too. Miros does Musselburgh proud.I think its a little gem of a place.More

Will definitely not return here again, terribly poor service, waited about 25 minutes before the menu was even brought and we had to ask for it, then another 20 minutes, and we had to ask for order to be be taken, this is 3rd time...I've visited customer service is worst I've experienced, will never be back, experienced the same unhappy service in portobello, not a happy nice place to enjoy a coffee, don't go.More
