Fantastic food from the award winning Chef. Super value too. In a super location right under the Forth rail bridge and offering a varied selection of dishes from their Menu it has a lot to offer. It is said to be one of Fife's best kept secrets.. Shame that as it deserves to be much busier. We love it...

Visited here the other week for the first time and will definitely return! My partner and I both had starters and mains, I had the fish cakes which were lovely, would return just for them! For mains, it was the Thai chicken noodle dish which is served with either salad or fries, I chose fries, the chicken especially in this... More

Had a lovely meal here today, waiting staff were brilliant! Had 2 children with us whom ate free!!!! Myself & partner had fish and chips, nice and simple but, oh my lord!!! The fish was huge and 'homemade' chips were to die for! Our waitress, Lesley I think? Was full of good banter and actually made us want to return!... More

Went here for an early dinner - having been here before on numerous occasions - we knew what to expect. The chef has changed - much for the better - the food is freshly cooked, well prepared and presented. Haggis fritters - different - but delicious. Homemade lentil soup - really homemade. Fresh haddock and (real homemade) chips - excellent.... More

We attended a family celebration for 22 so had the dining room to ourselves. Staff were friendly and the food excellent... big portions and mostly hot - there were 3 choices so it took a while to serve everyone but no complaints. The shin of beef was the best I have ever had!

It's difficult to know where to start. I *really* want to write a good review of this place but having given it several goes, I just can't. It's such a shame as the location is great, but it's being badly let down by the management team. I have been there maybe 8-10 times (I know, a total glutton for punishment... More

Fresh breaded Haddock ,tasty and succulent Steak and ale pie and a handmade fresh burger. The food was well cooked ,with care and attention ,piping hot . The service was friendly and pleasant ,natural, actually at first thought uninspiring, but really do you need to be entertained with a flashy waiter in a local hotel, pub ? it was unobtrusive and pleasant.... The place needs an upgrade and the food and choice of menu a little old fashioned. Prices are not family friendly and alternatives locally very poor considering most people want to eat and visit Deep Seal World. Its hard to see any changes being made for the foreseeable future so have a brunch before you go and avoid an overdraft.

My wife pre booked this restaurant due to its web site appeal and menu. Unfortunately when we arrived and asked about the scallops well advertised on its web site (like the fresh steamed clams, shell fish, melody fresh and shell fish, saddle of lamb, Gressingham Duck etc) they had not served this for a long time (contravening trade description act...
