We were on the last day of our 4 day walk round the island, and after a less than inspiring breakfast at our hotel decided to pop in. It is a small space and not clear on whether to order at the counter or not but eventually a friendly lad came over. Cheese scone was tasty and scrambled egg on... More

Once again we stopped at the old pier tearoom for lunch and a chat. It was breezy and we were out for a walk and it was good to get inside and have a seat, some lovely Scottish cuisine and a good blether.

An amazing array of freshly baked cakes and pastries. Plain on the outside but don't be fooled. Worth a stop if visiting Arran. Good coffee and a mouth watering chocolate brownie straight from the baking tin.

Dropped in for lunch we had the soups which were very tasty and had the homemade taste. Nice cafe in a great location. The displayed cakes and sausage rolls looked amazing.

We stumbled across this wee cafe by accident on our 3 day visit to the island. The food was faultless and very reasonable priced. We returned each day to have lunch there. The home bakes are out of this world and the warm cheese scone must be the best in Scotland if not the planet.... it was amazing. Well done... More

We went here for lunch on a Sunday. There was a choice of 4 soups which was fantastic for us soup lovers and home made sausage roll for the boy child that likes meat! We all love cake and its unusual to have so many home made cakes to choose from - there was something for everyone; chocolate, apricot and... More

Went to this cafe on two occasions. Once on Sunday 5th Feb and the next day. Fantastic food. Great service at a good price. I had ham broth with a fruit scone and tea and my wife had red pepper, soup and a slice of victoria sponge. Fantastic fresh and home made. Went the next day and had a BLT... More
