Visited here twice in 4 days as they serve the most amazing soup! We often have dinner at the Auchrannie and love the soups there but Karen the proprietor's may just pip them at the post for her delicious curried carrot soup. A lovely welcoming atmosphere too -we wlll definitely be back.

This is one of the best cafes on Arran. We always visit when we are on the island. The cafe is not large, but really clean. The menu is small but there are filed rolls, homemade soup, sandwiches (toasted if wanted), jacket potatoes and lovely homemade cakes. THe food is very reasonably priced. It also has a lovely selection of... More

Found this place by accident while looking for somewhere to eat. Nice craft shop with a great Cafe. The couple that own it are real nice people and the food is fresh and all prepared on the premises as you wait. Thanks for the great experience Jeff & Winn

Crafts & tea shop, homemade scones, a lovely little place to while away the time. On the front in Lamlash, views fantastic. Very close to everything, easy buses to Brodick & the ferry.

Made in Arran is a perfect stop-off for a light lunch or afternoon tea. Highlights are the homemade soups and baking, but there are also great toasties, pancakes, etc. Karen, the proprietor is friendly and welcoming, and the name of the cafe tells you that there is also a terrific selection of locally made crafts, pictures, books, etc. Sadfly not... It's encouraging and refreshing to visit a shop and cafe that still prides itself on local produce, stocking arts and crafts of a high quality from the island rather than lots of same-old imported stuff.

We went in to look at the cute things for sale, and had coffee and cakes. Both were just fine, and glad we were to be sitting there. The bathroom was a little odd, but that had to do with not finding the light until after exiting. The proprietress was friendly, welcoming and clearly proud of her little business.

If you want a tea or coffee and happen to be around, it's OK enough. But the atmosphere is more that of a shop than that of a nice tea room.
