A quick stop for lunch. Venison stew was quite incredible. Good beer too. Timothy Taylor's Landlord, very rare this far north. Good view over the water to Kintyre.

We called in as were touring Arran for a "snack". The setting is great, right on the shore with fantastic views, so quiet it almost makes you whisper so as not to disturb the peace. The greeting from the young lady was really nice, there...More

Stunning location and decent bar meals too. Friendly obliging hosts. Accommodation is more than adequate for £35 a night in the middle of summer. Basic rooms with a separate TV area. Good breakfast and strong free Wifi. Bike storage too.

This little hotel has tired clean decor with a welcoming wood burning fire. Sunday lunch is a must. It is a set price of £13. The starter was a choice of 3 soups with bread. All home made and excellent, very tasty. Then all you...More

Dined in on Good Friday, arrived at around 6pm. There were some obvious 'regulars' including 2 dogs plus another small table of people. Not alot of selection for food, but lots of drinks - unfortunately husband was driving so couldn't partake but the coffee and...More
