For starters we had the Minestrone soup which tasted delicious - nice and herby - and not stodgy so you had room for the main meal. For main meal we had the bean/tomatoes/veg dish which was also very good. Chips were fab too. Pudding one...More
Another really lovely dinner...the salmon was awesome, and the ice cream selection awesome. Service brilliant and so friendly.. do go but remember in winter they are only open on a thursday, friday and saturday.

Excellent restaurant for a such a small town. All of the entrees seem to come with abundant potatoes, chips, and veggies. Many cakes on offer too. Bring your own alcohol - they will happily pour it or refrigerate it.
This restaurant is busy and you will need to book days in advance. There are not may places of this quality in the area so it gets busy. They only serve evening meals and produce good food and excellent service. A BYOB which does not...More
We were lucky to get a table in this fabulous restaurant mainly because we have local good friends! Celebrating our 65 birthdays here was the best! Thank you everyone for making it special. The chocolate birthday cake was to die for. X

Don't know whether or not it is ope at lunchtime in August as we went in September early evening. We were advised to book as the B&B owner said that locals couldn't manage to eat there as it is always so busy!
