Have past this pub many times but never thought to stop in. Decided to have breakfast here on Sunday and wasn't disappointed. Good portion size, well cooked and value for money. Can't really ask for any more

Stopped of for a drink when out walking one day. Never been here before. Nice spacious interior with a fantastic selection behind the bar. The do Stowford press on tap which is amazing. The staff are really nice and friendly. They also have a nice conservatory where they do meals etc. I will be back. Thank you to the guy... More

Great choice of brekfast menu to cater for everyones needs. The kids who can be picky even found several things of their choice. The value for money was very good. The food was tasty, warm and served within a good time span. Nothing to fault, we all enjoyed it.

The best haggis I ever ate, it was also the first but...great! The owners were very attentive and gentle. I'm coeliac, so I have to ask about the ingredients and they were very collaboratives and nice with me. They served to me a dish with 3 colors haggis (brown), mashed potatoes (yellow) and mashed turnips (orange) for 7.95 pound. It... More

There was 10 of us, two are fussy eater's. We had requested a large chips and beans for a fussy adult, the portion was more like a child's portion, asked for another which was quickly brought, then our other fussy eater had ordered garlic bread, which looked lovely, so good the other fussy eater had to get some as well... Arrived unplanned, but were welcomed immediately. Sunday morning breakfast - well cooked, decent stuff and included toast, tea etc. Good value and much more friendly than the offerings at Dobbies around the corner!

Our Cousin was over from Canada and we had a “last night dinner” together at the Laird on 24th February – 4 of us. The food was amazing. We shared “mussels” to start – can’t wait for a whole portion to myself! I wasn’t too sure as I’m not keen on panceta but it was amazing! Main courses were steak... More
